Medicaid Service Coordinators (MSC) assist individuals with developmental disabilities and their families to make connections to services and supports in their community that will help them achieve their life goals. Kelberman Center MSCs are trained professionals who specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorder. They are supported by a team of experts that can assist with a wide variety of ASD related concerns. Service Coordinators offer primary support in four key areas:
Referral and linkage to services and supports in the community
Assistance to help navigate Medicaid benefits and Social Security Insurance (SSI/SSDI)
Providing advocacy that will help ensure that an individuals desires are understood and respected by others including service providers, education providers, and medical providers.
Development and maintenance of an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) that will act as a road map to achieve personal outcomes with a focus on quality of life.
Service Coordinators are available to meet in an individuals home or in the community, at the time and place of the individual’s convenience. They are also available whenever the individual is in need.
