Psychological Evaluation

EvaluationA psychological evaluation focuses on the social-emotional and/or behavioral functioning of an individual and may or may not include assessment of intellectual or academic functioning. The psychological evaluation is instrumental in the identification of developmental, behavioral, or learning disorders. In addition, psychological assessment can serve as a guide for treatment planning. This is different from an evaluation provided by a school district, which is usually performed to determine whether a child qualifies for special education programs or therapies. Our licensed psychologists are extensively trained in best practice for accurately diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder.
