On February 16, the Autism Support Group held their first ice skating event. It was a huge success with roughly 100 people in attendance!
Parents reported that kids had a great experience and many of them were able to take to the ice for the first time in their lives! The Kelberman Center would like to extend a special thank you to the Whitestown Wolfpak Pee Wee Red Team for volunteering to assist the skaters. They did a great job both on and off the ice!
Move Among the Stars generously donated skate rentals for 44 children and snacks for the entire group, making this a fun and comfortable day for everyone. We are thrilled with the success of this special event and hope to host something similar in the future.
