About Walk for Autism
Walk for Autism has expanded from a single location in Boonville in 2008 to multiple locations around central New York today. More than 3,000 individuals come together throughout Walk season to generate awareness and raise funds which all stay right here in our local communities!
Fundraising efforts allow the Center to provide a number of critical programs and services at no-cost or low-cost, including family support consults and events, awareness generation, policy advocacy, trainings and conferences, social groups, recreation activities and scholarships, and community-based programs for all ages.

The easiest way to provide support during Walk season is to start or join a Walk fundraising team! Teams often honor an individual, family, company, school, club, or any group that wants to be represented.
Use the paper pledge form to collect direct donations and take advantage of online fundraising tools through FirstGiving which make it easy for you to share your cause on social media and effortlessly collect online donations.
(These forms print best on 8/12″ x 14″ legal paper, but standard letter paper will work too)
Many teams host their own mini-fundraisers in the months before the walk (raffles, bake sales, change donation drives) to increase their team totals even more before Walk day. Top teams are recognized each year and are invited to a special post-walk celebration.
Volunteer opportunities: Assist with planning or event activities at any of the Walk locations. Volunteers help us secure in-kind donations and services for each location as well as assist with activities on-site the day of the event. Call our office at (315) 797-6241 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in volunteering.
