The Kelberman Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Jean Jacobson, PhD to Managing Director of Clinic and Educational Services. Dr. Jacobson has served as the Director of Early Childhood Autism Services since 2006 and she is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience working in the field of autism spectrum disorder. In her new role, Dr. Jacobson oversees the Kelberman Center’s outpatient clinic services, early childhood programs, consultation programs, and district training programs. Dr. Jacobson received her doctoral degree from the University of South Carolina and completed her internship at SUNY Stony Brook.
Kelberman Center executive director, Robert Myers says, “We are so pleased that Dr. Jacobson has become our first Managing Director of Clinic and Educational Services. She has lead our preschool to new heights and will bring a new level of clinical integration to the Kelberman Center. She shares our agency-wide vision for person centered solutions that ensure all people have the clinical and educational supports that they need.”
